Kim Lyons initially left ANZ Bank to join a commercial broking firm to assist them expand into the residential home loan & rental market. After doing his “apprenticeship” as a Mortgage Broker, he has over the last 23 years set up his own business to allow other key team members to join him, bringing their own skills and passion to help clients with a far greater choice of solutions from a variety of lenders. They can now offer, refinancing, bridging, rental investment, commercial, development and business finance options.

After finishing my Bachelor's degree at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town South Africa I started in the Banking industry. I joined First Rate Mortgages in 2015 after 14 years at Sovereign Home Loans where I gained invaluable experience in mortgage lending.
